Loop Mobile to possibly go 3G in October
Although Loop may not be a pan India subscriber base, they do have over 3 million odd customers here in the Mumbai metropolis alone. So far Loop mobile users

Could this really be on the way?
Back in January, Loop had mentioned that VAS would see a significant rise with new services that would try to mirror 3G services. The likes of video calling and other services were to be made available via EDGE, but so far there’s been no development on this front. The most likely situation would be Loop tying up with another provider like BSNL, Idea or Vodafone to provide their customers with 3G connectivity.
It’s about time they took the next step as the other operators are going to make it much harder to stay with Loop without 3G speeds being part of the deal. Stay tuned for more on this front.
