LG TV With Digital Video Recorder Now in India
LG has unveiled its 'Time Machine TV' series, that come with an in-built High Definition Digital Video Recorder.

LG Electronics has introduced its 'Time Machine TV' series — the world's first TV with built in High Definition Digital Video Recorder, that offers absolute control over the way users want to view television — in India.
The Time Machine series comprises Plasma TV (42PC1RR and 50PC 1RR) as well as LCD TV (37LC 2RR and 42LC 2RR), and gives its users, the freedom to record their favorite TV shows with the in-built HDD recorder technology. Moreover, users may skip commercials during a crucial cricket match; while simultaneously record another live program on a different channel onto a built-in 80 GB hard disk drive.
Girish V Rao, VP (Sales & Marketing), LGEIL said, "With the trend of customized products fast gaining ground, Time Machine has been introduced by LG with the aim of maximizing profit in the high potential display market by securing a strong technological edge. The LG Time Machine TV is targeted towards the technology savvy audience and will make television viewing much more intelligent than before. The product has been a success worldwide especially in markets such as Europe and South East Asia, and we are expecting Time Machine alone to contribute around 25% to our total Flat Panel Display sales."
