LG trolls Samsung with its own Optimus G posters on Times Square

Ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S IV launch which is today, Samsung has launched an advertising blitzkrieg of sorts with various videos and posters. At Times Square in New York, Samsung has put up posters with the tag line Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy.

And now, according to Engadget, Samsung is getting trolled by LG which has put up its own poster on top of the Samsung one, stating that the LG Optimus G is here 4 you now. Obviously LG's ad with the giant 4 sticking out of it is a direct hit at Samsung's use of the number for 4.

LG has even copied the style of number 4 and its a pretty smart tactic to update rival's Samsung buzz around the Galaxy S IV.

Samsung's event will take place at Radio City Music hall, although the event will also be streamed live for the public at Times Square.

LG's has also unveiled a "Value Pack" update for the Optimus G Pro which will hit Korea next month. It has a feature called Smart Video that responds to a users eyes, and will pause the video if the user looks away. This is similar to one of the features that is rumoured to be in the Samsung Galaxy S IV. More on that here.

In addition, the upgrade will pack what's said to be a world's first Dual Camera feature.

According to Tech2, this is inspired by the Optimus G Pro's Dual Recording feature, which allows users to simultaneously shoot 1080p video from the front and rear camera, Dual Camera creates picture-in-picture still images. Users can now also pause and resume 1080p recording in the Camera app and the final result will be one continuous video file.
