Lenovo launches Flex 10 notebook with 10.1-inch display for Rs 34,500

Lenovo has silently updated its products listing with a new 2-in-1 notebook, dubbed the Flex 10. While having a notebook form factor, users can flip the lid 300 degrees to enter stand mode, which is better suited to using the touch-centric interface of Windows 8. The notebook runs on Bay Trail, and is priced at $550 (Rs 34,500 approx).

Use it as a laptop...

According to the product page, "When you're relying heavily on the keyboard—drafting documents or working on a spreadsheet, for example—keep your Flex 10 in the classic laptop mode for maximum productivity. But when you're focusing on touch applications, web chatting, or enjoying a film or video, flip the screen 300 degrees to enter stand mode. The Flex 10's unique design means it adapts to whatever you choose to do."

It features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768. For memory, it is equipped with up to 500GB for storage, with support for 4GB DDR3L memory. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi b/g/n. The options for processors include a quad-core Pentium N3610, a quad-core Celeron N2910, a dual-core Celeron N2810 and a dual-core Celeron N2805. The laptop weighs in at 1.2kg and measures 273 mm x 188.5 mm x 21 mm. It also features a 720p front-facing webcam.
