Lenovo K8 Note to launch in India at 12.25 pm today: Here's how to catch the event live
The Lenovo K8 Note is set to launch on 9 August at 12 pm. Lenovo will stream the launch live on YouTube, The device is expected to be an Amazon exclusive.


The invite for the Lenovo K8 Note launch event[/caption]While the device hasn’t been unveiled yet, a recently leaked benchmark listing gives us a very good idea of the internals of the upcoming smartphone. The information, leaked on GeekBench indicates that the device will be powered by a Mediatek Helio X20 chip (MT6797) clocked at 1.85 GHz and with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. This chip uses a Mali-T880 GPU.The GeekBench 4 score indicates that the device scored 1551 in the single-core benchmark and 4664 in the multicore test. The listing also suggests that the device will offer Android Nougat 7.1.1 without any Lenovo skinning, which is good news overall.Lenovo later confirmed that it was dropping the Vibe UI skin from its devices.Also spotted on the site was the K8 Plus, which features a Mediatek MT6757CD Helo P25 chipset clocked at 1.69 GHz.
