Coming to the features, the notebook runs on Windows 7 with RapidBoot technology for faster boot times. There’s also USB 3.0 support. Lenovo claims that the quality of the voice call over Internet is as good as that of traditional telephones. While making voice calls, users can switch between private mode or conference modes. The private mode eliminates the background noise, whereas the conference mode picks up sounds right across the room. LED indicators are incorporated to signal the users whether the microphone and speaker volume is on mute during a conference call. Even the keyboard is designed in such a way that its clicking sound is minimised while the user is on a call. The latch design has also been improved. The ThinkPad is available at a price starting at Rs. 71,920
