LG’s G3 smartphone is expected to be a much improved follow-up to the G2 smartphone, which remains one of the best buys till date. If leaked images are anything to go by then LG’s next high-end smartphone could not only bring improved hardware but some changes to the UI as well. As per a Digital Trends report, screenshots of what is allegedly the new LG UI for the G3, show a 2560 x 1440 resolution which indicates that LG G3 will most probably come with a 2K or 1440p screen.  The leaked screenshot show cleaner notification centre with icons that are brighter and flatter and more translucent elements than we saw on the G Pro 2. The leaked screenshots also show two widgets; weather and time widget. Both have neatly squared-off edges along with subtle shading. It is rumoured that the LG smartphone might come with some personalisation tool to create a UI of your choice.[caption id="attachment_222322" align="alignnone" width="640"]lg g3 leaked screenshots Image: Digital Trends[/caption] The screenshots show text “You may want to take an umbrella, since rain is expected during this afternoon” beneath the two widgets. That's the much-rumoured concierge service that will supposedly offer users suggestion based on information in the widgets and other apps on the phone. One of the leaked images show a screen which has shortcuts to features like NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Q Remote and 3G/4G data connection. The same screen also shows a pull-down notification drawer. Another screenshot shows “Favourite Contacts” panel.[caption id="attachment_222323" align="alignnone" width="640"]lg g3 leaked screenshots Image: Digital Trends[/caption] LG is believed to be pushing for a June or July launch for the G3 to compete with high-end flagships from Samsung, HTC and others. Not much is known about the G3′s other specs yet, however given the recent trend, LG would likely include a fingerprint scanner for its next flagship just was we saw in Samsung Galaxy S5.
