Leaked images show iPad 5 in space gray with silver trims

In the past one month, we’ve seen the iPad 5 in a number of leaks and rumours. We’ve also seen a video showing the new iPad shells along with several other leaks. Now Sonny Dickson, known for Apple-related leaks, has got his hands on some images of the iPad 5 and has has posted a gallery of high-res images. The leaked images show the iPad 5 in silver and space gray colours. We’ve earlier seen the iPhone 5S sporting a similar space gray shade. The iPad 5 looks sleek and has a silver trim along its front-facing edges.

The fifth generation iPad 5 is likely to feature a 9.7-inch display, similar to the one seen in the iPad 4. There have also been reports about the iPad 5 and iPad mini getting 8 megapixel cameras. The new sensor modules will reportedly be provided by Sony, allowing Apple to bump up the resolution from the earlier 5-megapixel sensors for both models. The tablet as well as the mini variant will most likely run Apple’s new 64-bit A7 chip.

Silver trims on the front edges

The new iPads are strongly rumoured to be launched on October 22.
