JVC Introduces its First Blu-ray Player
JVC has introduced their first player, called the JVC XV-BP11.

Here's one more entrant to the Blu-ray player market - in the US though - JVC. This is one brand that is not yet seen fully in India, but has the potential for sure. It has introduced their first player, called the JVC XV-BP11. It's a very budget priced player, at $200, but doesn't come packed with features. It only does Blu-ray Profile 1.1, which means you won't be able to take advantage of Internet features.
This ultra-thin player can play BD-Rom, BD-R/RE, DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, Audio CD and CD-R/RW discs, and supports most multimedia formats including AVCHD, WMV, JPEG, MP3, WMA, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital plus, Dolby True HD, DTS as well as DTS HD Master Audio/Essential.
