iPhone SE first look: Apple says the starting price is Rs 39,000 and not Rs 30,000

[caption id="attachment_305403" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Apple had two major product announcements at its event last night – the iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The highlight was obviously the iPhone SE. For the Indian market, the company first said that the starting price would be Rs 30,000, and later changed it to Rs 39,000 for the 16GB model. In India, the iPhone SE will start selling from early April onwards.[/caption][caption id="attachment_305401" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] The new iPhone SE sports a 4-inch Retina display (1136 x 640 pixels) with a pixel density of 326ppi. It looks quite similar to the iPhone 5s with the same metal body, four colours, flat edges with rounded corners, volume rocker buttons on the left hand side. The device is 7.6mm thick and weighs 113 grams.[/caption][caption id="attachment_305404" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] On the inside, Apple has put in an A9 chip with 64-bit architecture along with the M9 motion co-processor. The iPhone SE is said to come with 2x the CPU performance and 3x the GPU performance of the iPhone 5s. Then there's finger print scanner on the home button. It runs iOS 9 and boasts of a 14 hour talk time on 3G, 13 hours internet use on LTE; Wi-fi 802.11ac; Bluetooth 4.2 and more.[/caption][caption id="attachment_305405" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] In the camera department, the iPhone SE gets the best from Apple – a 12MP iSight rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture along with support for Live photos. On the front, you get a 1.2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture and HD recording capability.[/caption]
