iPhone 4S gets carrier unlocked pricing

Apple have finally got the carrier unlocked iPhone 4S for US citizens and they’ve put the three phones into neat little price brackets based on the inbuilt memory. Neat, yes. But cheap? We’ll leave it for you to decide. These are simply conversion rates, but you’ll easily get a rough estimate of how much you’ll have to rake in if you want to buy the new iPhone in India.

Apple iPhone 4S 32GB ~ Rs. 37,450

Apple iPhone 4S 64GB ~ Rs. 42,450

Another thing to note is that there’s no news on whether Apple’s USP for this product, Siri, is fully functional in India. The last we heard was that our country was still on the waiting list. On the other hand, there are chances that the phone will release in India on the 24th of November. After the iPad2 quickly made its way to the Indian shores, this bit of news seems pretty likely to come true.
