When you take a screenshot on Snapchat or Facebook Poke currently, the person who sent the picture immediately receives a notification alarm. Thanks to this alert, you know that the image you sent could be misused and you can take prompt action against it.

However, that system is not going to be on your side anymore, leaving you vulnerable while using these self-destructing messaging apps. According to a report by MacRumors, this change was found in the release notes of iOS 7 beta 2 that has just been released – active touches are no longer cancelled when the user takes a screenshot.
While this might mean next to nothing to most people, power users of Snapchat and Poke could find themselves in serious trouble. When you’re viewing an image on Snapchat, you need to keep a finger on the screen while viewing it. When you try to take a screenshot, the image viewing is interrupted, thereby closing the photo. Snapchat uses this as an indication to detect illegal screenshots and intimates the person on the other end.
