Mid-range Intex Aqua N8 and entry-level Cloud X12 smartphones listed online

Intex has strengthened its Aqua and Cloud smartphone portfolios with the launch of two new devices. The company’s Intex Aqua N8 and Intex Cloud X12 are now listed on the official site and also on an online retailer. The Aqua N8 is priced at Rs 8,990 while the Cloud X12 appears to be an entry-level device priced at Rs 4,290. The Intex Aqua N8 sports a 4.5-inch OGS TFT display with 480 x 854 pixel of resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M chipset that clocks at 1.3GHz, coupled with 512MB of RAM. The N8 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Its 4GB onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB. Its 1750mAh battery promises up to 5 hours of talk time and 180-220 hours on standby mode. The entry-level Intex Cloud X12 comes with a smaller 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz SPD7710 chipset, along with mediocre 256MB of RAM. On the camera front, Intex has fitted a 2-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The onboard storage on the Cloud X12 is limited to 512MB, which is expandable up to 32GB. It includes a lowly 1200mAh battery. Both devices come equipped with dual-SIM support as is standard nowadays, and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.  They both have support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity options. The Intex Aqua N8 is available in black while the Cloud X12 has a black as well as a white version.
