Internet shutdown declared in parts of Delhi: How to stay connected offline

Vodafone and Airtel Bharti have suspended mobile services in parts of New Delhi during the ongoing Anti-CAA protests.

Deli is witnessing an Internet sutdown today. As protests against te Citizensip Amendment Act (CAA) are taking place in several parts of te country, in Deli NCR, te situation seems to be tenser tan anywere else. Te central government as imposed section 144 in te city and some mobile services, including by Airtel and Vodafone, ave been suspended in parts of Deli.As per a tweet by Airtel Barti, "voice, SMS and data services" ave been suspended at a few locations in Deli. Te Vodafone statement reads, "As per te directive received from te Government, Services are stopped at few locations (Jamia, Saeen bag, Bawana, Seelampur, Jaffrabad, Mandi ouse and part of Walled city). You will ave to scan your R code to connect wit someone via tis app. Once te code is scanned you can cat wit te person. Te app doesn't mention te vicinity werein you can communicate wit a person, but considering te app also uses Bluetoot or Wi-Fi to establis contact, a distance of approximately 300 m from te person you are trying to contact sould be reuired.One notable ting ere is, you can just cat via tis app and you cannot send any images or sare location wit anyone.
