Intel-powered Lenovo K900 available for Rs 28,999 till July 1

Lenovo’s flagship smartphone the K900 has just gone on sale at the company’s official e-store and the Chinese company has an early bird offer that is sure to attract a lot of attention.

Using a coupon code available freely on the company’s Facebook page, any one can buy the K900 for a discounted Rs 28,999 till July 1 on Lenovo’s The Do Store. The official price of the phone is Rs 32,999. We must say that a sub-Rs 30,000 price tag makes the K900 a bargain, especially considering its specs. The phone will be delivered in 7-8 days, according to the listing.

The K900 is the first real attempt by Lenovo to establish a flagship smartphone product in India. It is powered by Intel’s Clover Trail+ dual-core processor, which is sufficiently zippy and there’s a massive 5.5-inch display on top with a full HD resolution. Earlier this month, when the company launched six new smartphones in India, they told us their aim is to sell a million handsets in the country by this year. Keeping that intention in mind, the early bird discount for the K900 makes ample sense. Whether potential buyers think the discount is worth it though, is another matter altogether.
