Instagram tests Stop Motion tool for its Stories feature
This new feature is called Stop Motion and it will let you take a long series of photos which will then be stitched into gifs by Instagram.
Logo of Instagram.[/caption]The Stop Motion tool, first reported by The Verge, will not allow you to edit individual photos with Instagram's story-editing tools. Once the series of photos are clicked just tap the done button, edit the final GIF through the story-editing tools and post it to your Instagram Story.This new feature comes days after the company announced its SuperZoom feature. The superzoom feature automatically zooms a picture while suspenseful music in the background intensities. The same can be used both for selfies as well as normal images, like a simple book on a table. This feature dramatizes the object in focus. The video can be shared via Instagram Direct or Instagram Stories.The next feature that the company launched was Halloween-themed filters and stickers.These filters included a zombie, a vampire, a flying bat, or a frog. Adding to this, were few Halloween themed stickers such as the Halloween pumpkin, hanging spider, Zombie hands, or red horns which added flavour to the Halloween celebration.On 1 November, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that 'Instagram Stories' and 'WhatsApp Status' both now have 300 million daily active users — up from a combined 250 million for Instagram in June and WhatsApp in July
