Instagram has rolled out its latest version that now adds a new editing tool. In its official blog post, Instagram states, "We’re delighted to bring you a set of new creative tools on Instagram with the ability to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth and more." The tools can be accessed by tapping a new wrench icon on Instagram’s editing screen, which is displayed in a horizontal grid list. Users can now also adjust how much of a filter you apply to a photo by double tapping the filter icon. "Tapping one of the tools lets you adjust its strength on a 100-point scale, so even if you have no idea what vignetting means, you can develop your own understanding by playing with the tool for a couple minutes and noticing how the edges of your photo get darker as you increase the strength of the tool," adds The Verge. Peter Deng, the director of the product told the news site that to implement vignetting,  the Instagram team has researched "what film cameras and vignetting actually looks like, and how [vignetting is] an artifact of how lenses take the light in." The Instagram version 6.0 is now available for download for Android and iOS users via Apple app store and Google Play store, respectively.
