Indiagames Partners with PopCap
Indiagames announced that they're going to bring PopCap's casual games to their GoD service...

At the CGA Casual Connect Seattle 2007 conference yesterday, Indiagames announced that they're going bring PopCap's Games to their GoD service. For the clueless, PopCap Games is one of the most successful Casual game developers out there; their hit titles include Bejeweled, Zuma, Chuzzle, and Bookworm, which will make it to the GoD service soon. Here’s what James Gwertzman, PopCap's Vice President for Asia/Pacific had this to say about the partnership:
"We are very optimistic about the prospects of casual games in India
We're excited to work with Indiagames to bring our award-winning games to Indian consumers. The online games market in India is just getting off the ground, and we're excited to be there at the beginning."
Those of you who haven't heard of GoD, it's the 'Games on Demand' monthly subscription based gaming service that Indiagames has to offer. The service gives you access to around 300 games from publishers such as Atari, Activision, Codemaster, Microsoft, Cenaga, Playfirst, Sandlot, Eidos, Hipsoft, and Magnasoft.
