India users experience Gmail outage with 502 error
Once again in less than a month Google's Gmail service appears to be down in India with users getting the 502 errors.

Once again in less than a month Google's Gmail service appears to be down in India with users getting 502 errors. Gmail was down three times last month on 2, 8 and 13 May. On 8 May, even Google's Play Store had suffered an outage.
Downrightnowindicates that user reports are saying Gmail is down.TheGoogle Apps Statusboardhowever does not currently show a service outage or disruption for the mail service.
The message on the Gmail page said, "502. That's an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That's all we know."

502 errors means that two different servers involved in loading a web page (or other task) are not able to communicate properly.
