Inbox by Gmail updated with new snooze functionality
Inbox by Gmail now has a new feature that allows users to snooze an email to a specific time.
Google, known to add timely tweaks to its products, has now updated Inbox by Gmail with a new snooze feature. Soon after adding the custom snooze time option earlier this year, Google now allows users to snooze an email to a specific or just the right time when you need to read the email. The new snooze feature will let you snooze an email to the exact time and date of your choice. For instance, in case of flight confirmation or tracking a package, the email can be snoozed to just hours before the arrival or flight. In its Gmail blog, Google writes, "Snooze in Inbox is getting a bit more convenient—when you snooze an email that has dates and times (like event confirmations or shipping notifications), you’ll get a one-tap option to snooze to exactly the right time, like the day of your concert or the morning your package will arrive."The snooze option will be seen on the right side and mostly on emails related to package tracking updates, restaurant and event reservations, calendar invites, flight confirmations, hotel reservations and rental car reservations.
