iMove to Moonwalk into portable boombox market

If you're in the mood for some dancing lessons this summer, you might want to pick up the iMove to groove with. Memorex has introduced a 12 Watt portable music box which is compatible with fourth and fifth generation iPods (iPod Video), iPod Nano, iPod Mini and the iPod Photo/U2.The iMove sure is good looking, with the matte black finish and a white, backlit LCD display but there's no variety in colour and style. Other features include a digital AM/FM radio, SRS WOW technology with sound enhancement and a wireless remote control. The iMove can power and charge all dockable iPods and can also connect all non-dockable CD and MP3 players via its line-in jack.At $100, the iMove is cheaper than its competitors, the iPod Hi-Fi and is better packaged than the iBoom and Toolbox player. Although the official launch date is not out yet, the iMove will hit stores soon.
