IIT Delhi partners with French firm Thale for PhD fellowship programme

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) said on Tuesday that it has partnered with multinational electronics company Thale for a Phd fellowship programme to facilitate scientific collaboration between India and France.Thales, an electronics major in the field of defense and aerospace, signed an MoU to conduct research in both countries under the management of an Indian and a French supervisor respectively from the IIT-D and from one of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) laboratories in France.Upto four students will be selected in the first batch to conduct reserch in research in advanced electronics, electromagnetics and complex systems engineering.Thales had earlier partnered with IISC, Bangalore and IIT, Bombay in last two years, respectively, to the same end."France is a country synonymous with creativity and innovation, and is at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies.
