Leaks of Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z5 flagship device indicate an impressive specification sheet. Among the list are a 4k display, a 23 MP camera with a 0.03 sec autofocus and 5X digital zoom.According to Xperiablog, "The new design will have an ‘XPERIA’ logo on the side of the aluminium frame (it’s not clear if this will only be on the Xperia Z5 Premium or all of the Z5 family). These will be the first Sony Xperia models to feature a fingerprint sensor."According to the report, the 23MP image sensor of the Xperia Z5 is capable of 5x Clear Image Zoom. At 30 milliseconds, the device also has the fastest autofocus currently in the market. In order to deliver better images, Sony has optimised the camera software on the Xperia Z5. With the Superior Auto mode, users can select between image resolutions: 8MP (16:9), 20MP (16:9) or 23MP (4:3).An interesting feature in the Xperia Z5 is the capless microUSB port that is water and dust resistant (IP68 certification expected). In addition, the device is expected to provide 2 day battery life across Xperia Z5 models, despite the Xperia Z5 Premium, having a 5.5-inch 4K display.Given the feature set, the pricing of the device will be critical, especially in the Indian market. Recent devices by Sony, especially the Sony Xperia Z3+ were priced on the higher side. Check out our review of the Sony Xperia Z3+ here.
