In the never ending flurry of Core-Duo based launches Lenovo today introduced two new ThinkPad models T60 Series and the X60 Series. These new models are lighter faster and with significant improvements in battery life.Thanks to improved power management based on the Core-Duo platforms the new series have improved battery life as much as by 37 percent while the new powerful chip improves productivity and multitasking versus previous processors, allowing users to run multiple high-performance applications. The new ThinkPad X60s features the longest standard battery life of any ThinkPad ever made before, allowing for up to 11 hours of battery life. With a much-reduced weight of 1.2 kg, the ThinkPad X60 series is priced at over Rs 1 lakh. The ThinkPad T60 measures 2.5 cm in thickness with a travel weight of 2.2 kg. ThinkPad T60 series is available for Rs 93,490 onwards.Both the new ranges will be available shortly at authorized Lenovo dealers.
