Huawei Watch 2 to be announced this year with Android Wear 2.0 and cellular connectivity

Android Wear 2.0 is finally going to roll out in February and it is expected to arrive with two new flagship smartwatches made by LG. The update should also trigger other manufacturers to launch their own updated smartwatches and the latest scoop says that Huawei is already working on one.A report via VentureBeat suggests that the Chinese manufacturer is working on a successor for the Huawei Watch which was announced back in 2015 and launched in India last year. While it is still under speculation, the new smartwatch will be a bit more sporty than its predecessor. It will still carry a similar sized 1.4-inch display and have the option to swap bands. The big change however will be the addition of cellular connectivity as it could feature a built-in e-SIM card. This will allow the user to stay connected even when the watch is not in range of  Wi-Fi or a paired smartphone. This isn't something new as manufacturers like Samsung and LG have launched cellular connectivity based smartwatches in the past.The original Huawei Watch reached India quite late, but it was one of the best Android Wear offerings. Since the new Android Wear 2.0 update is expected to go official in early February, there is a high chance that Huawei will announce the new Watch 2 right after the announcement.
