Huawei Mate 10 Pro with dual cameras and bezel less display leaked online ahead of 16 October launch

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is expected to launch on 16 October, and there have been a steady stream of leaks and teasers from Hauwei itself in the run-up to the launch. The latest series of leaks are by Evan Blass, who has tweeted out the finish of a Porsche design edition of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, an image featuring the colour variations of the device, and a close-up of the camera module. The Mate 10 lineup will consist of the Mate 10, the Mate 10 Lite and the Mate 10 Pro.The dual cameras are designed by Leica, and are arranged vertically. Some early teasers showed the device having a single bezel around both the cameras, but the latest series of leaks show rings around each lens. The front face is an almost edge to edge screen, and is a bezel-less display. The device is available in brown, blue, grey and black, apart from a Porsche edition with a burnished finish.  The new flagship by Huawei will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. Previously leaked specifications of the Kirin 970 shows that the chipset houses an octa-core processor with a quad-core Cortex A73 cluster and another quad-core Cortex A53 cluster having maximum clock speeds of 2.8 GHz. On the graphics front, you will get a Mali G72 MP8 GPU. The Kirin 970 is based on a 10 nm manufacturing process. Huawei Australia had previously teased a slightly different image of the device, with no fingerprint scanner on the back.Huawei has also indicated that the upcoming flagship will be infused with artificial intelligence. Huawei goes as far as to say that the device is not a smartphone, but an intelligent machine. The device seems to be going toe to toe with the Apple iPhone X with the A11 Bionic chip. The dual camera setup is expected to be similar to the setup on the Huawei Mate 9 and the Huawei P10, with a 12 MP colour sensor and a 20 MP monochrome sensor.[caption id="attachment_4101347" align="aligncenter" width="850"] Image: Evan Blass[/caption]The device features an 'EntireView' display which will come with a 6-inch panel and have an 18:9 aspect ratio with 2160x1080 pixel resolution. Owing to the bezel-less display, the fingerprint scanner is located at the back, below the camera module, as previously speculated.Very early teasers of the device showed that the Mate 10 initially had a differently designed camera module.
