Huawei launches Ascend W2 with Windows Phone 8, India release soon
Huawei launched a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone called the Huawei Ascend W2. The smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core 1.4GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.

Huawei launched a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone called the Huawei Ascend W2. The smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core 1.4GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
It has a 4.3-inch IPS WVGA LCD screen. Users can handle the touchscreen even while wearing gloves. The phone supports 720p video recording and playback. The phone has an internal storage of 8GB.
The Ascend W2 also comes with 7 GB free SkyDrive storage space as well. It has 5-megapixel rear camera, but no front-facing camera. It comes with a 1700mAh battery.

The Huawei Ascend W2 will be available in Russia and the Netherlands from November.
As far as the India launch is concerned, it is not clear when the device will be out but according to the company's press release, it says the phone will be available soon in India.
The price of the phone has not been revealed. It comes in four colours - black, blue, yellow, and red.
