According to GSMArena, the Pyramid will launch at the HTC event being held in London and there’s also news that the handset will be called Sensation in the UK. Right from the time the smartphone’s pictures leaked out, the Sensation has been appearing in the news boasting of some new specification now and then. As for this event, there’s still no word about the pricing about the Sensation but till then you can check out the specifications of the handset.

The HTC Pyramid is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and will be running on Android Gingerbread operating system. HTC will have their customized HTC Sense UI running on top of the OS. The device has the following specifications:

  • 4.3-inch S-LCD Touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, DLNA, GPS with A-GPS support
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR
  • 8 Megapixel camera with autofocus and LED Flash
  • 1.3 Megapixel secondary camera
  • Memory expandable up to 32 GB
