HP updates its Spectre X360 15 laptop with the new Intel and AMD-powered chips at CES 2018

HP has announced that it is updated its Spectre X360 15 laptop with the newly announced Intel chipsets which pack Radeon RX Vega M GPUs along with the 8th generation Intel CPUs.[caption id="attachment_4293545" align="alignleft" width="380"] HP Envy X2. Image: HP[/caption]As previously reported, these new chips will result in a much better graphics performance. The company has updated the price of the device to start at $1,369.99 and it will start shipping on 18 March 2018.According to a report by The Verge, much of what HP has to offer with Spectre X360 15 is following the general trend this time at CES. It means that similar to other companies at CES, HP is focusing on a ‘new’ updated model of something they previously released instead of launched an entirely new product.The company also launched an Intel version of its HP Envy X2 that it launched back in December with ARM-internals.[caption id="attachment_4293541" align="alignnone" width="1200"] HP Spectre x360 15. Image: HP[/caption]This Intel-variant does come with its trade-offs where the battery backup is less, 7th generation of processors instead of the latest 8th generation and an option for LTE connectivity. HP has not announced the details about pricing and release date in addition to any partnerships with cellular carriers at the time of writing.[caption id="attachment_4293539" align="alignnone" width="800"] Image: HP[/caption]This is not the only new thing that HP announced at CES this year. The company announced ‘Spectre Tote Bag’ which is made using ‘full grain leather’ that packs a ‘tech pocket’ that is designed to carry all your gadgets along with an optional battery pack. The battery pack in the tote bag can charge multiple devices at the same time. HP has priced the bag at $199.99 and customers can get their hands on the bag starting 1 March 2018.
