Halo: Reach Demo Out Now
In a bizarre turn of events, Microsoft releases a Halo: Reach demo 8 months after the game's release.

Only 8 months late
Everyone who’s yet to experience shooter can grab an assault rifle and jump into the fray, as a new demo for “Halo: Reach” launches on Xbox Live. As a special bonus, the Games on Demand version of “Halo: Reach” will be available for one week only (May 24 through May 30) for a reduced price of $39.99 (U.S.) and £39.99/€39.99 (EMEA), so don’t miss this chance to join the battle for Reach and see what you’ve been missing!
The heart-pounding demo drops you right into the action with the riveting “Long Night of Solace” campaign mission, plunging you into an epic-scale battle as you fight across a besieged beachhead and blast off into space to engage the Covenant armada head-on, high above the planet Reach. 2
The action-packed demo also gives you a taste of the award-winning “Halo: Reach” multiplayer experience in the “Free for All Slayer” and “Headhunter” modes on the map “Powerhouse”, and lets you and your friends assault the Covenant together on the Firefight map “Overlook” over Xbox Live.
So yeah, good news for the dozen odd gamers who’re yet to play this game.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
