The communication satellite scheduled for a launch in the early hours of May 20th, 2011 from its space centre in French Guiana (South America) has now been postponed to May 21st, 2011. The launch was delayed as additional inspection of the satellite, which weighs 3.1 tonne by satellite launch agency, Arianespace was needed. The satellite also has 24 Ku-band transponders fitted into it to facilitate communication and broadcasting.
