The market has been flooded with Full HD TVs that are now priced pretty competitively. This of course means that the common man can now experience truly great home entertainment without having to feel that deep void in his pockets. So here’s a look at our top 3 entry level HDTVs.

Philips-24PFL5555/V7 – First Place

Philips has launched this 24 inch LED TV pretty recently and it definitely looks like a winner to me. This TV has features like Full HD, contrast ratio of 200,000:1, USB and two HDMI ports. It also has built-in 10-watt stereo speakers (2 x 5w) and an eco-mode which shows that Philips is doing its bit to save the environment. Priced at Rs. 25,500, this TV is the most expensive of the lot, but quality does come at a price and according to me, the price is right.

If you want great colour reproduction and excellent black levels at an affordable price, this is definitely the TV for you. This TV is really slim, looks good and is simple to operate as well, which is what makes it a winner. This TV also has some pretty neat features such as Full HD, USB slot, PC connectivity and an LED backlight. Priced at Rs. 20,990, it’s a pretty good deal for those who are planning to go in for their first flat screen TV.
