Google Trips app will help you plan vacations

We all love going on vacations, don't we? And Google claims that its next mobile app will just make planning vacations easy. Aptly named, the Trips app, will be made available for both Android and iOS.The app is being described as a travel guide and itinerary maker that will pull up all the information like flight itineraries, hotel reservations and so on from your Gmail. You just need to tell the app, where you have to go, download the guide for offline use and it will start planning."Google Trips is a personalized tour guide in your pocket. Each trip contains key categories of information, including day plans, reservations, things to do, food & drink, and more, so you have everything you need at your fingertips. The entire app is available offline — simply tap the “Download” button under each trip to save it to your phone," Google writes in its blogpost.Google offers a variety of day plans including popular daily  for the top 200 cities in the world. Google claims it has automatically assembled the most popular sights, attractions and even local gems into the full day's tour, and all these are based on visits by other travellers. Moreover, it lets you plan a day, depending upon your requirements, likes and dislikes. For instance, you can tell the app you are near a famous location, and want to visit places around, but have only a couple of hours, half a day or so on."Say your friends told you that you have to see the Sagrada Familia — and you’re looking for suggestions on things to do around that spot. Press the “+” button in the day plans tile to jump into a map view containing all the top attractions in your destination. If you’re time constrained, you can specify above the map whether you have just the morning or afternoon, versus a full day. Then simply tap and pin the Sagrada Familia to build your itinerary around it," Google further explains in its blogpost.It keeps a track of your  flight, hotel, car and restaurant reservations.
