Google has released its financial report for the third quarter of this year and the results are looking pretty impressive for the Internet search giant. As Google’s CEO, Larry Page, mentioned on Google Plus, revenue has been up by 33% this year and their quarterly revenue is just short of $10 billion, which is definitely not bad for a thirteen year old company.Well done, Google

The Android smartphone area has grown exponentially as well, with over 190 million Android phones activated now. This means that in the mobile genre, Google has grown 2.5X in the last twelve months with a run rate of over $2.5 billion. Chrome has hit over 200 million users and as far as Google Plus is concerned, the numbers are pretty impressive as well with 40 million users now registered. Google Maps is now officially available in 40 new countries, taking the total to 130 countries in all.
