Google Nexus 5P 'Sailfish' specifications appear to have been leaked
Specifications of Google’s upcoming Nexus 5P — a.k.a. Sailfish — appear to have been leaked on GFXBench.
If the leaked image is to be believed, a Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.1GHz that is paired with an Adreno 530 GPU powers the phone. The tested phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It’s not clear if there is a provision for a microSD card. The phone is a single-SIM device with the usual assortment of GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi sensors.The screen is a 5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920x1080. The leaks also indicate that the rear camera is a 12MP unit with 4K recording support and that the front one is an 8MP unit with 2K recording support.In terms of software, the test device was running Android N, Manufacture Release 1. There are also rumours that the device will support swipe gestures via the fingerprint sensor, for viewing notifications and the like, as well as a USB Type-C port and bottom firing speakers.A larger 5.5-inch Nexus device called the Marlin is also expected. That devices will probably feature a 2K screen resolution and a 3,450mAh battery.Both devices will come with Android N out-of-the-box and should support ambient display functions and more.The Nexus 5P is reportedly being built by HTC.First Published:Aug 05, 2016, 16:05:05 IST
