Google Home app coding reveals Google Assistant support on Chromebooks; could debut on the Pixelbook

Along with the text, the Chromebook icon was also noticed making it almost obvious that Google Assistant would make its way to the Chromebook and Chrome OS.The report also adds that the update will likely make its way along with the recently leaked PixelBook, the device being the first Chrome OS-based device to sport the feature.Google is expected to launch the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, Google Home Mini and a range of other devices on 4 October.According to a report, Google Assistant has received an update that allows users to search specific information or services through a search bar.
