Google Daydream View will be available in store starting November 10

Daydream View will be available on Google Store and other retailers across five countries. The initial launch countries will be United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.

Google has announced that Daydream View, the first Daydream compatible headset will be available starting November 10. Daydream View will be available on the Google Store and other retailers across five countries. The initial launch countries will be United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.[caption id="attachment_344728" align="aligncenter" width="640"]image Credit: Google Image Credit: Google[/caption]Daydream View can be coupled with any Daydream-ready smartphone like the Google Pixel or Pixel XL for a whole new VR experience. It will be available for $79 in the United States which translates to Rs 5,279. The new Daydream VR platform is built in Android Nougat. Daydream View will initially be available only in Slate colour with Crimson and Snow arriving later. All the headsets will be made of soft cloth and foam instead of plastic or cardboard material used in current VR headsets.[caption id="attachment_344738" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Image Credit: Google Image Credit: Google[/caption]The company outlined few services that will be available at launch to enjoy the Daydream platform including Hulu VR, YouTube VR, Google Play Movies and more. Google has worked with other creators to create VR experiences like 'INVASION!,' 'Star Chart VR,' 'The Wall Street Journal VR,' 'Google Street View,' 'The Guardian VR,' 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' 'NYT VR.' The company will also introduce VR games like 'Danger Goat,' 'Get in the Game,' 'Hunters Gate,' 'Wonderglade,' 'Gunjack 2: End of Shift,' 'Need for Speed: No Limits VR,' and 'Mekorama.'
