Goibibo to launch GoCars, an intercity ride-sharing service
Goibibo now has webpage revealing the advantages of the goCars car sharing service but has no details as to when it will be launched.

Online travel booking portal Goibibo is all geared up to launch its intercity ride sharing service called GoCars. The company now has webpage revealing the advantages of the car sharing service but has no details as to when it will be launched.According to the webpage, the service will allow riders to share car journeys between cities. GoCars will differentiate itself from the rest by focussing on the overall user experience. Those features would include shared car journeys between cities, pick-up points and drop points that are nearby to the rider, verified drivers and lower-pricing since riders will only have to pay for their own seat (and not the whole car).
Additionally, riders can also use goCash facility for cash free transactions. Goibibo claims that its goCars service will revolutionise the way a rider takes road-trips between cities. As of today, there are a few services that offer intercity travel, but the price tags at best remain expensive. We have Ola Outstation which recently was recently launched in May. Ixigo offers an intercity cab service which can be booked from its mobile app as well. Add to this AHA taxis that has now expanded to 20 more cities recently.
