BlackBerry tried to win a race against time by plugging in issues that last month’s BBM for Android and iOS launch fiasco caused, in a rollout today. The official BBM for iOS and Android application went live in a subdued fashion, with only a blog post from Andrew Bocking, Head of BBM at BlackBerry to accompany it.
While there was palpable excitement in the air thanks to the launch, there were a few completely unhappy with it. The chatter on social networking websites – as well as reviews on the Google Play Store – has gone on to show that users are facing glitches while signing up and using the application.

Android @BBM app sucks big time. It always says, "No Connection available" or "services not available". #wtf #annoyed

It’s to be seen how BlackBerry will now manage to fix these issues – that still seem to be concentrated in the Android version of BBM – and still manage to roll out the app to more users than the six million who signed up for accounts much in advance.
