A recent benchmark was spotted on Geekbench, which offers details regarding a new device from Gionee - W909 prototype. The data base also offers details about the specs. Judging on leaks available, looks like the device will be positioned in the 'upper-midrange' segment.According to a report by GSMArena, the phone will sport MediaTek's Helio P10 chipset, also known as MT6755. It will also be powered by 2GHz 64-bit processor along with an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and the Mali-T860 GPU. One can also expect the device to include features such as fingerprint sensors, good camera features and large storage variants. As of now, no details have been shared as to when the device will be unveiled.A report by Gizbot points out that this is probably the first of those 100 devices scheduled to be launched with the Helio P10 chip on the inside. Another Chinese manufacturer Elephone has announced that their P9000 flagship smartphone will come with the Helio P10 SoC as well.
