Gionee S6 Pro with 4GB RAM and Android 6.0 announced

Gionee has announced its revised S6 in the form of the S6 Pro smartphone for the Chinese market. The device gets improved hardware compared to the older Gionee S6 and is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 20,000) in China and will available in gold, Rose Gold and silver online on the company's China website.The Gionee S6 features an all-metal build and also packs in a fingerprint reader on the front bezel that doubles as the home button. The company claims that the fingerprint reader can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds. The other highlights of the smartphone are Android 6.0 Marshmallow and USB Type-C port.Gionee S6 Pro gold silver rose goldOn the front we get a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display. Inside, there is a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P MT6755m processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The same can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.Coming to the cameras we get a 13MP camera with an LED flash on the back and 5MP unit on the front. The device features a 3130mAh battery and comes with the usual connectivity options Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and 4G LTE radios (with VoLTE support).The Gionee S6 Pro is just 7.6mm thin and weighs in at 170 grams. For now there are no details regarding the global availability of the smartphone.
