Gionee Elife E6 launched in India for Rs 22,999
The Chinese company has been making a slow entry into India and the E6 is their latest flagship.

Gionee has launched the Elife E6 smartphone in India at an event in Delhi and it looks to be a very exciting phone in terms of specs. The Chinese company has been making a slow entry into India and the E6 is their latest flagship.
It also comes with a price befitting its status. The E6 has an MOP of Rs 22,999 and is expected to be available from this month onwards. That price is slightly higher than what most Indian buyers expect from a Chinese company, but the specs are right on the money.

The one problem area for the E6 could be battery life as despite the high-end internals, there’s only a 2020 mAh battery on board. This was no doubt done to reduce to the size of the phone, but could ultimately hamper user experience.
On the back there’s a 13-megapixel camera that employs a Sony Exmor R sensor and has a 5-element lens. There’s a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for high-res selfies. Connectivity wise this comes with Wi-Fi and 3G. GPS and usual bouquet of sensors are also present.
Here’s a quick look at the specifications of the Elife E6:
- 5-inch 1080p full HD display
- 3G, Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support
- 13MP rear camera with auto-focus, 5MP front-facing camera
- 32GB internal memory
