The IFA in Berlin just kicked off to a great start with companies pulling the wraps off hordes of new devices. Here's a quick recap of the key highlights of the IFA 2016.Samsung's S3 Gear becomes the highlight of Day 1. The Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier smartwatches with in-built GPS and 4G LTE support (only Frontier). Find out more about the devices here.asus_zenwatch3The Day 1 saw another cool smartwatch - the Zenwatch 3 from Asus. A 1.39-inch AMOLED display device with Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 and quick charge ability. Learn more.One of the biggest surprises was the Acer Predator 21X gaming laptop that boasts of a 21-inch curved display. It also packs in two Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics cards and an Intel Kaby Lake CPU.  The 21-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 (2K) also supports Nvidia’s G-Sync technology. In addition, Acer is throwing in a Tobii eye-tracking module.Acer Predator 21x tech2 720As expected a slew of announcements came in from Lenovo. The highlight of these announcements is the Moto Z Play - a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display smartphone and a Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod to enhance your smartphone photography experience. The 2.0GHz octa-core processor paired up with 3GB of RAM and a 16MP laser autofocus camera along with a front-facing camera with LED flash.Besides, there's the Lenovo Yoga Book - a 2-in-1 tablet designed for enhanced user productivity with 10.1-inch IPS full-HD screen, Dolby Atmos sound, 64GB of memory and two panels that open up like an ultra-thin notebook. The tablet is also equipped with Halo keyboard that is designed to “learn and adapt to” typing habits of its user, with built-in prediction and artificial learning software.motozplayAcer has put on display its ridiculously thin notebook dubbed Swift 7. The 13.3-inch laptop runs on Windows 10 and has a thickness of just 9.98mm or 0.39 inches. It features the latest 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of SSD storage, and 8GB of RAM. There is also an advanced 2×2 Wi-Fi 802.11ac and two USB-C ports. The 13.3-inch IPS panel comes with full HD (1920×1080) resolution, sadly no touch version will be available. Read more here.Bang and Olufsen, known for its aesthetics, has new gadgets on display at the IFA 2016. The key highlight of the Beosound 1 and Beosound 2 is the ability to project sound 360 degrees.
