First Samsung Tizen smartphone coming to India by November

We've already seen the first smartwatch running Samsung's Tizen OS and now the company plans to bring the long-time rumoured Tizen smartphone to India by November. At the launch of Club Samsung 2.0 service, Tarun Malik, director of Media Solutions Centre, South West Asia confirmed to The Economic Times that Samsung is planning to launch its first Tizen smartphone in India. His team is responsible for promoting Tizen in India and it's not the earlier rumoured Samsung Z, adds the report. Now, Samsung is believed to be dropping Samsung Z in favour of other cheaper Tizen devices. The Samsung Z is the first commercially available Tizen phone featuring a 4.8-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display, similar to the one found in the Galaxy S3. Sammobile points out, "Samsung might launch Tizen based SM-Z130E or SM-Z130H during the Diwali festive season later this year. Both these entry-level smartphones were spotted heading to India for testing purposes a few months earlier. The company recently launched Club Samsung 2.0 in India that aims at offering local content to its users. Moreover, the company believes that the Indian market is too vast to accommodate several players. "Samsung believes that they can differentiate Tizen based devices from the competition through their content, further adds the report. Yesterday, we also came across reports confirming a new smartphone in the company's 'A' series dubbed Galaxy A5.  It is believed to be built using a material that is neither metal nor plastic, but a new material that feels ‘cold’ in hand.
