Feedly Pro has now gone public. Google Reader successor Feedly has made an upgrade to a new Pro service available to the general public for a tidy sum of $5.

In a blog post announcing the launch, Feedly’s Cyril wrote that the Pro service – with some neat additional features was available now for a sum of $5 a month or $45 a year. Some of the foremost features for Feedly Pro include one-click Evernote integration, integration with Pocket as well as premium customer support to address your concerns.Feedly Pro now available

The service has assured that new features will be coming to Pro subscribers regularly. “The goal is to offer our most passionate users more productivity and make Feedly sustainable in the long run,” reads the post. The Pro feature will drive in the money that will ultimately help Feedly set up a better system for both Pro as well as regular users.

The blog post too says that the funding that came in by way of the 5,000 early backers accrued by the service helped Feedly set up a customer support team as well as helped in setting up a better infrastructure. This in turn has led to Feedly Pro being available to the general public now.
