Facebook Playing Around With Voice Calling

The prime suspect is its tie-up with Skype.

If you aren't already sick of seeing Facebook in the news, here's another one. Recent activity suggests Facebook is playing around with voice calling. At the end of last year, Facebook and Skype announced a partnership where your Facebook contacts could be integrated into your Skype call list, but we haven't seen any function of Skype integrated into Facebook. However, recently, as one image shows, Facebook added the option of 'call friend' in its chat section. This option quickly disappeared but the little amount of time it was available was enough to fuel countless rumours.
