'Facebook for Business', Now Available

Social networking is no more about just enhancing your social circle. Facebook now plans to help small-time businessmen with promoting their business activities on the booming social platform. Launched on Tuesday, those with businesses that could do well with some help from Facebook could begin by logging on to facebook.com/business. The page, by the mere appearance of it seems to be a step-by-step manual for small-time businesses.

Enhance your business circle

After proceeding with the initial step, users are prompted to ‘Build a presence’, which basically involves letting their immediate, and the larger circle around them know that their business has arrived. Then from creating a page – giving out relevant details of their business, to engaging in a community conversation, making your fans and then finally seeing the ‘word of mouth’ advertising do the rest for you, Facebook claims to help you give a decent start.
