Now this may come as bad news to many, but Epic is not planning on releasing a demo for their most awaited third person shooter built on the Unreal 3 Engine, Gears of War.Here's what Epic's Mark Rein had to say in a forum post, "I don't see any way we could do a demo before the game comes out. Demos take a long time to create and polish, and we can't afford to get derailed like that if we want to have the game in stores by Thanksgiving. I know we have some very cool plans - not 100 percent solid so too early to give any specifics - for additional downloadable, so that might take a higher priority than creating a demo."He goes on to state that they may release a demo once the game's out, but nothing's confirmed as of now. Emergence Day (GoW's release date) is the 17th of November for the 360, with a PC release to follow later (much later).![]()
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
