The app has been downloaded over 5 million times even though it released in May 2014.The app revolves around an educational game which focuses on learning experiences, improving memory, reading comprehension and other skills which help train your brain.Though it's a free app, it requires a $5 monthly fee to unlock the whole range of brain games. The master mind behind the app is Jesse Pickard. He said, "We want to zero in on each person's struggles and help them get to a better place," as reported by USA Today. He also added, "Brain training works best on mobile phones because it's always there with you. It does more than a computer, because of the touch-based interaction."Pickard will look into adding more skills to the app in 2015.Elevate is available for both iOS and Android users. It must be pointed out that the winner of 2013's best app of the year by Apple was Duolingo, a similar educational game focused on learning languages. The runner-up iPhone app of the year is Hyperlapse, Instagram’s video program.
