Dell updates its Vostro line with Ivy Bridge CPUs

Dell today announced the Vostro  3360, 3460 and 3560 laptops designed to deliver strong performance and security with IT support crafted, specifically for growing businesses. The Vostro 3560 laptop is available now on Dell.com and from registered Dell channel partners starting at Rs. 42,990 plus taxes, the Vostro 3360 starts at Rs. 44,990 plus taxes and the Vostro 3460 starting at Rs. 41,990 plus taxes. These new notebooks will be available from June 21 onwards.

Designed for professionals in search of power, portability, and value, the new Vostro laptops offer three elegant sizes – 33.02 cm (13-inch), 35.56 cm (14-inch) and 38.1 cm (15-inch) and three colours – Aberdeen Silver, Brisbane Bronze and Lucerne Red. The 13-inch Vostro 3360 offers great portability in a thin 0.76-inch design and mainstream performance for professionals. The 14-inch and 15-inch Vostro 3460 and 3560 laptops simplify content creation by delivering superior performance ready to handle the most demanding business needs. All three laptops, when configured with an optional 32GB mSATA SSD card, support Intel Rapid Start and Smart Response technologies. Rapid Start delivers fast boot-up and hibernate response times, while Smart Response quickly recognizes and cashes the most frequently used files and applications, allowing customers to access critical business information quickly and easily

Standard fingerprint readers, file and folder encryption via digital PersonaFile Protection software, and Trend Micro security software ensure that critical data is securely protected, while Dell DataSafe Online Backup safeguards that valuable data via online back-up to a protected, remote storage site.
